Your Jetbook Store FAQ
1. What happens when an order from my "Jetbook Store" is processed?
When your customer places an order from "Your Jetbook Store" you receive an email. Your Account manager also is sent an email. The email provides limited information about the order. You are required to follow the link and use your account number and password to get into your back office and retrieve your order.
2. How do I get paid if my customer places an order on my "YOUR JETBOOK STORE"?
After retrieving your order you need to contact the credit card company and check the address and credit card number to determine if everything is OK. Sometimes people put in false information, some times people commit fraud you must check. It is your sale and your responsibility to make sure the order is legal and legitimate. Example, if the credit card is stolen you need to find that out prior to arranging delivery of the product.
** We do not ship or prepare anything until the order is placed from you our reseller. 
3. I DO NOT HAVE A MERCHANT ACCOUNT CAN I STILL USE A "YOUR JETBOOK STORE"?
In the back office there is a spot to choose to accept COD payment, by default it is set to "No". You can set it to "Yes" and then accept COD orders however your customers may choose credit card as the method of payment anyhow. For now the best way to solve this issue is to put a notice before the link to "Your Jetbook Store" that you do not Accept Credit Cards if you do not have a Merchant Account.
4. How can I integrate this "YOUR JETBOOK STORE" with my web site?
There is no charge for the "Your Jetbook Store". You can contact your Account Manager to request a store. You will need to fill out the "Your Jetbook Store" Agreement form which can be found at ftp://www.jetta.com/YJS/ a direction sheet is provided by your account manager after the store is created.
5. How is Warranty work handled? 
Jetta computers come with a return to depot warranty the same warranty that has been in place. 
The main difference is now the customers can go to your web site and request a RMA number for the notebook direct from Jetta. They can also go to your site to trace the status of their repair.
This saves you the trouble of creating an internal repair record for your customer as well as cross-referencing the records to provide a repair update. It also relieves the responsibility to provide a Repair update all together if your users are willing to check on-line.
6. Who is responsible for technical support?
The technical support is the same in many ways, the customer or reseller can come to Jetta for support as before however now your web site has our knowledge base built in and if your customers do not find the answer they need they can ask on your site and have their questions answered directly by Jetta's Tech Support. 
7. Do customers actually use the On-line Support?
Our Tech Support telephone calls have dropped 60% since we implemented this procedure. When appropriate questions are asked on-line they automatically become part of the database for other people to search. This means the FAQs are really FAQs. 
8. Will you be getting a fix for Netscape 4.7 users? 
Netscape has provided a fix for 4.7 users but it is called Netscape 6.0 or newer. Unfortunately the early versions of Netscape do not work with ASP pages. WebArena Portal Builder the developing program that allowed us to create the "Your Jetbook Store" sites designs ASP pages.
9. How much do I have to pay to set up a "YOUR JETBOOK STORE" store?
Nothing! The "Your Jetbook Store" is free. You simply need to be a reseller and it is recommended that you have a web site to link to the store. The address of your "Your Jetbook Store" is rather long and chances are high against your customers typing it into the browser correctly.
10. How does "Your Jetbook Store" handle the security of my customer's credit card information?
The order information is stored on a Secure Server. The Back office is password protected and available only to the "Your Jetbook Store" owner. Jetta cannot provide lost or forgotten passwords for the reseller. If the password is lost then Jetta will be able to change the password back to its default and forward it to the reseller's email address on record.
11. How do I update the prices on my "Your Jetbook Store"?
The "Your Jetbook Store" does not require constant maintenance from the resellers. The store is based on a percentage mark up as opposed to a Dollar amount. The reseller's cost is the base amount and that is updated as Jetta's pricing is updated. Therefore the reseller needs to only decide their mark up percentage.
12. How do I update the product specifications on my "Your Jetbook Store"?
The products are also centrally updated so resellers do not need to prepare a page or a configuration table for each new model.
13. Can I sell other things on my "Your Jetbook Store" other than your notebooks and accessories?
Not yet, we are looking into ways in which we can expand to have the reseller's independent items be added on but that might need to be in the next version.
14. Can I have my company logo put on to my "Your Jetbook Store"?
Yes you can, email a copy of your logo, in a maximum of 80 Pixels high by 200 to 400 pixels wide, to your Account Manager. They will make sure it gets posted for you. Please give 8 business hours prior to inquiring about the logo being placed. Chance are it will be posted on your site with in 1 hour of receipt of the logo however if back logged it will generally be posted prior to the close of the business day. If it is not posted by the following day then send an email to postmaster@jetta.com and we will make sure it has not slipped through the cracks.
